We have launched a new app to delete Tweets..This is not like a normal mass delete Applications, it’s completely different from that.

This application allows you select Tweets and then delete it.

For E.g if 1 and 3 tweets are to be deleted ,you can select 1 and 3 and click “Permanently Delete Tweets” button to delete  it

Features:

a)Will  Delete Multiple Tweets

b)Can load upto 3200 Tweets.

Tweet Private and other features are currently on hold as we have promoting TwitLan over leaps and bounds last week.

Once the promotion is over we would be  back to working on  these features.

Private Tweets functionality  will go live on Nov 27th

Private Tweets:

In Twitter you always need a username to send tweets/messages to anybody but here it would be little different..By Private Tweets you can send a message to know person in the pseudonym of another(our account)..

We are happy to announce that it will go live on Nov 27th,2009..

As of now we support over 81 languages and we plan to add more (African Languages) in the coming days.

I have redesigned the site fully so now it becomes easier to navigate

Now you can choose a language from right side and corresponding Virtual keyboard would be available on left side.

And also latest tweets would be available on left side

Issue:

Length of Tweet is less than 50 Unicode characters for other languages .

Updates:

We have fixed this issue now.Now you will be able to Tweet upto 140 characters for languages other than English.

Tweets were not displayed in Safari browser

Update:

Now it has been fixed you will be able to see the tweets in Safari browser.

We have added OAuth authentication to TwitLan.com

With OAuth authenication it becomes easy to authenicate user and also it is more safe and secure than other forms of authentication

Added Logon part So that a user can see the tweets he tweeted via TwitLan.

This is a part of making TwitLan as full fledged Twitter Client with various other features apart from it’s main feature of tweeting in different languages.

We  have added a reply icon to tweets and soon we will be adding a retweet icon also to it..
